Jude Law was saddened by Anthony Minghella's dealth

Jude Law who is a good actor and nominee for the movie "Cold Mountain" was deeply saddened by the sudden death of a good and talented director Anthony Minghella. He died with the hemorrhage after a surgery was done to him in the neck for the cancer of tonsils and neck. He passed away at the age of 54. He will always be remembered as the director of Talented Mr. Ripley which stared by Jude Law, Gweneth Paltrow, and Matt Damon.

Nicole Kidman who starred in Cold Mountain, 40 said that he was a gift to the world and that she was devastated to know that the director passed away. Gweneth recalls that the director was sweet, loving, warm and caring person. Jude Law on the other hand who is 35 same as Gweneth was shocked to learn the untimely death of the director. He made three films with the director like Cold mountain, Talented Mr. Ripley and Breaking and Entering.

Anthony Minghella is also the director of English Patient which won 9 Oscar awards including Best Director for himself. Ralph Fiennes who is the main actor of such film was also shocked. He said that the director was a true collaborator.
