The sensational singer Charice Pempengco confessed in the Buzz that she is a tomboy or lesbian after Boy Abunda asked her if she is indeed a lesbian. Charice came out after a long speculation about her sexual preference. She said she chose Philippines to reveal  her sexuality because she said that what she is today she owed it from her Filipino fans. She was emotional when she confessed it and asked forgiveness from her fans, mother and brother about it. She said that she is not ashamed about what she is and proud of it.

Charice is now free as a bird, t-bird lol and she is hoping that her fans will understand her. She said that she is waiting for a day that no one will discriminate anyone regardless of what she or he is but will focus on what the person can do. She also said that she will be busy because she will have an up coming album recording and a TV show but will not reveal what it is.

Boy Abunda also ask about the girls who were links to her and about sexual experience. Charice still hoping that she will get married in the future.

Here is the complete news about Charice taken from ABS-CBN.com

MANILA – Singer Charice on Sunday ended speculations about her sexual preference by finally admitting that she is indeed a lesbian.

In an interview with Boy Abunda aired on “The Buzz,” Charice said: “Opo, tomboy po ako.”
An emotional Charice also apologized to her family and fans who are disappointed by her coming out.

From the bottom of my heart, sorry. Naiintindihan ko kayo.”
Earlier in the interview, Charice admitted that she and her mom are not in good terms but said it is just normal for a mother and her child to have misundertandings.

Pero I have to give her credit na tina-try niyang intindihin ang sitwasyon. Nag-aaway po kami pero normal lang po iyon,” she said.

Charice, however, clarified that she is not rebelling against anyone, especially her family.

Same-sex relationship

Without naming names, Charice also admitted she has had same-sex relationships.
“Opo, naman. Siyempre hindi ko naman masasabi kung sino pero opo naman na-experience ko po iyon,” she said.
However, she denied that she had a relationship with former “The Voice” finalist Cheesa Laureta.
“I remember nag-post kami ng picture ni Cheesa na ang caption ko ‘my baby girl’ kasi nakita namin sa timeline namin sa Twitter namin na jowa, jowa daw. Pero no po. Si Cheesa is like a big sister. Hindi po totoo,” she said.

On Alyssa Quijano

Last month, Charice made headlines after it was reported that she supposedly ran away from home to elope with former “X Factor” finalist Alyssa Quijano.
According to Charice, she is now staying at a house in Cabuyao, Laguna with the people whom she never thought would “catch a bullet for me.”

Asked who is Quijano in her life, the former “Glee” star said: “She’s an inspiration. She’s a very special person.”
Charice said she and Quijano have known each other since they were 10 years old but it was only during “X Factor” that their paths crossed again.

Quijano was a member of the group contestant AKA Jam, while Charice was among the show’s judges.
Asked if she loves Quijano, the singer said: “Sana mabuksan niyo ang puso ko para makita niyo. Malakas ang tibok.”
Furthermore, Charice admitted she is hoping to marry in the future.

Career

While her continuous absence in the local showbiz scene has puzzled her fans, Charice assured her supporters that she will be back in the limelight again soon.
And TV shows na lalabasan ko pero hindi ko puwede sabihin,” she told Abunda.
The singer said she will also be working on her third solo album soon for her fans in the Philippines
Charice said she is still being managed by Mark Johnson in connection with her career in the United States, while she still remains under the management of Glen Aldueza here in the Philippines.
“It’s very nice to have 'yung tao na kilala ka, alam 'yung gusto mo at ayaw mo,” she said.

MANILA, Philippines - Ms. Raquel Pempengco, mother of international singing sensation Charice, on Thursday said her daughter's fans should not be blamed for being angry with entertainment journalist-host Ogie Diaz.
In a message sent to abs-cbnNEWS.com, Mrs. Pempengco said Diaz cannot do anything if the "Chasters" get mad at him because of what he said against Charice.
“You cannot blame all Charice fans, especially ‘Chasters’, to speak out what’s in their mind against you Ogie D....You cannot blame them if they won’t accept your apology because of what you did to their idol.
"Because as you said ‘Ogie Diaz,’ they have their own opinion and that’s their opinion too...," Charice's mom said.
Diaz has drawn flak from Charice Pempengco fans, known as the Chasters, after he made several negative comments against the singer.

Diaz has apologized to the 18-year-old singer and her fans for saying that the singer's nerdy glasses "looks ugly on her." He also said sorry for saying that the “Pyramid" singer was “acting like a foreign artist” in the Philippines.

Charice drew flak from the entertainment press for reportedly snubbing them after the “1@11” concert at SM Mall of Asia.

Fans of the pint-sized chanteuse, collectively called the Chasters, lashed back at Diaz and vowed to boycott all his projects.
Diaz: I've already apologized

In a separate interview, Diaz maintained that he is still sorry if his opinions hurt or offended anyone but stressed that he already did his part to do what was right.
"I've done my part as a person to apologize.

Diaz, host of “Entertainment Live,” also denied making harsh comments against Charice’s mom. His denial came after his own mother became the target of harsh comments because of what he said against the young singer.

Diaz acknowledged that his public apology is not enough. He said he will personally apologize to Charice once they see each other.
Diaz already deleted all his tweets regarding the singer. He has more than 94,000 followers on Twitter.

Charice Mom Apologized

charice pempengco
After her concert with Gary Valenciano Charice refused to answer the press interview. Actually she did not entertained the press and because of this the media in the Philippines said that she is now arrogant and level headed. By the way even the fans could not go near to her. The security is so tight that many believed because Oprah order it. Well since she is now very popular not only in the Philippines but throughout the world maybe her black manager thinks that she should be guarded.

Her mother is quick to depend that her daughter was so tired and she need to rest because the show finished at around 1:00AM in the morning. Many people were disappointed with what she did because she did not care about the press and her fans.

Here's the news about this big head small creator:

MANILA, Philippines- After drawing negative feedback from the entertainment press, the mother of international singing sensation Charice on Monday came to the defense of her daughter.

Charice’s mom, Racquel, appealed for understanding from the entertainment press, who got mad after the 18-year-old songstress refused to grant them an interview last January 8.

Charice performed with Mr Pure Energy Gary Valenciano at SM Mall of Asia Concert Grounds two weeks ago where they also launched their individual scents created by Aficionado Germany Perfumes by Joel Cruz.

Before and after Charice's performance, no one was reportedly allowed to get an interview with the young singer. Also, fans were prohibited from going near her. The rumor was that Oprah Winfrey ordered the tight security.

Racquel explained that her daughter was already too tired and wanted to rest after the show.

“Kasi ‘yong araw na dumating si Charice, mula umaga, natapos ‘yong concert halos 1 a.m,” she said.

“All the time naman na uuwi kami, lahat ‘yan (interviews) ay napagbibigyan namin,” she added.

Racquel also reiterated that, contrary to criticisms, Charice has never forgotten the Philippines and her humble beginnings. “Lagi kong pinapaisip sa kanya, there’s no place like home. Home niya ang Philippines. Iba pa rin ang mga Filipino.”

‘Disappointed’

Some reporters expressed disappointment over the incident.

Below were some of their sentiments:

“Humihingi na ng permiso, ‘yong handler n’ya sinabing she’s just here to sing . Nakakairita! Sumama ang loob ko,” an emotional Ambet Nabus of Pinoy Parazzi said.

“How sad! It’s so unbecoming of a Filipino artist na ganoon ang ginawa niyang trato sa media. Parang sorry ha, pero yuck! Disappointed ako sa kanya,” added Leo Bukas of People’s Taliba.

If some were disappointed, columnist and talent manager Alfie Lorenzo has a different take on the issue.

He said: “The security are just doing their job.

Racquel has apologized to the press over the incident.

-Reports from James Cantos, PUSH.com.ph and radio dzMM
