Enrique Gil is the sexiest man in the Philippines this year 2013 according to survey. He garnered a total of 39,746 votes. He was followed by Xian Lim with 22, 091. Well this is not accurate as this survey is based on popularity. I could not believe that many well proportioned models with good looks were trounced by this guy. Fans are the responsible of this funny result. I know that Enrique is a good actor but really the result is not credible.

MANILA – "Muling Buksan Ang Puso" star Enrique Gil was named the "Sexiest Man in the Philippines" for 2013 in an online poll conducted by popular entertainment website Starmometer.

Gil garnered a total of 39,746 votes, followed by fellow Kapamilya actor Xian Lim who got 22,091 votes.

ABS-CBN dominated the poll with Kapamilya actors occupying nine out of the first 10 spots.

Aside from Gil and Lim, other Kapamilya stars who made it to the list are Matteo Guidicelli at No. 3, Coco Martin at No. 4, Slater Young at No. 6.

Sam Milby also made the list at No. 7, Gerald Anderson at No. 8, Paulo Avelino at No. 9, and Richard Yap at No. 10.

The online poll was participated in by thousands of fans on the social networking sites Twitter and Facebook.

This is not the first time an actor from ABS-CBN topped Starmometer’s “100 Sexiest Men in the Philippines” list.

Milby bagged the top spot back in 2007, Piolo Pascual in 2008, Enchong Dee in 2011, and Martin in 2010 and 2012.
