John Manalo will court Kathryn Bernardo

John Manalo was blushed when he was asked about Kathryn Bernardo who is playing Mara in "Mara Clara". He said that he likes Kathryn very much and plan to court her when the time comes. John Manalo is just 15 years old while Kathryn is 14 years old. John Manalo said that he will court Kathryn after three years because he promised to his mom that he will court a girl until he turn 18 years old.

John Manalo is the nephew of Jericho Rosales. John Manalo said that he has a crush with Bernardo since they were part in "Going Bulilit".Bernardo in the other hand was shocked because she thought that he was just joking and she felt that he is just like a brother. John said that he prefers an old-fashion way of courting because he wants to experience what his parent had experience. He said that he is a conservative time of a person.

They are both part of "Mara Clara" with Albie Casino and Julia Montes.

Johnny Depp Praises Penelope Cruz

Johnny Depp was very happy when he learned that his friend Penelope Cruz has delivered a cute child courtesy from Javier Bardem. He considered Penelope Cruz as one of his best friend. He had worked with Penelope Cruz before in the film "Blow". Johnny Depp said that Penelope is a good actress and in fact this is true because Penelope is the first Spanish Actress to win an Oscar.

Penelope and Johnny will work again in a beautiful film which I am waiting the "The Pirates of the Caribbean: On stranger Tides". Penelope will play as Johnny love interest. I was thinking that the character Johnny playing in this film is Gay? Anyway this could be a hit movie again. I like Johnny playing Jack Sparrow.

Another development is that Johnny Depp will play Elvis Presley.

Here is the news that I read about Johnny Depp from Shobizspy:

JOHNNY Depp was thrilled when he found out Penelope Cruz would be starring alongside him in the upcomingPirates of the Caribbean movie — because she’s one of his best friends.
The actor — who plays Captain Jack Sparrow in the swashbuckling series of films — has known Cruz, who plays a character called Angelica, for several years.
“Oh yeah, she’s a serious force to be reckoned with, Penelope. We did a film together years ago called Blow — I could’ve said, ‘We did blow together years ago.’ That really would’ve made it,” Johnny said.

“Yeah so we did this film Blow together, which was wonderful, I mean she’s really a treat, she’s a heavy hitter. You can throw all kinds of stuff out there into the atmosphere and she’ll snatch up something and throw a curve ball back at you. It’s very stimulating, she’s someone I adore, one of my best friends, so yeah it’s been great having her.”

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides is due out later this year.
Recent reports claimed Depp wants to play Elvis Presley on the big screen.
“Johnny has always been fascinated by strong characters and inspirational people like Elvis,” reveals a source close to the actor.

“He is excited by the idea of a movie focusing on the dark side of Elvis and his later years as a superstar and an icon. It’s still early days but this is a project Johnny is very keen to get off the ground.”

James Franco might star as Oz

James Franco is the latest contender for the Oz. The Oscar-nominated host of the Academy Awards is in early negotiation to star in "Oz, the Great and Powerful," Disney's prequel-ish take on "The Wizard of Oz" tale being directed by Sam Raimi.

The "Oz" role has been a hot one and was offered to Robert Downey Jr. two and a half weeks ago but he passed. It was also offered to Johnny Depp but he declined the offer last night.

Sam Raimi is signed on to direct the movie which tells the story of the young wizard, who is forced to flee a traveling circus but lands in Oz when his hot air balloon is swept up in a tornado. In the land of Oz, the illusionist is forced to compete with two witches for control.
But from acting pinned to a rock in "127 Hours" to a cameo as a drug lord in "Green Hornet" to his stint on the soap opera "General Hospital," Franco is showing he is not following anyone's playbook, but his own.

Sources caution that no dealmaking has begun and many issues would need to be ironed out, but if the stars align, Franco would be back working with Raimi for the first time since they collaborated on Sony's "Spider-Man" movies. At this stage, Franco hasn't met with Raimi to discuss the project.
While "Oz" doesn't have a start or release date, the production is a high priority for the studio, which hopes to start production in the second half of the year.
