James Franco might star as Oz

James Franco is the latest contender for the Oz. The Oscar-nominated host of the Academy Awards is in early negotiation to star in "Oz, the Great and Powerful," Disney's prequel-ish take on "The Wizard of Oz" tale being directed by Sam Raimi.

The "Oz" role has been a hot one and was offered to Robert Downey Jr. two and a half weeks ago but he passed. It was also offered to Johnny Depp but he declined the offer last night.

Sam Raimi is signed on to direct the movie which tells the story of the young wizard, who is forced to flee a traveling circus but lands in Oz when his hot air balloon is swept up in a tornado. In the land of Oz, the illusionist is forced to compete with two witches for control.
But from acting pinned to a rock in "127 Hours" to a cameo as a drug lord in "Green Hornet" to his stint on the soap opera "General Hospital," Franco is showing he is not following anyone's playbook, but his own.

Sources caution that no dealmaking has begun and many issues would need to be ironed out, but if the stars align, Franco would be back working with Raimi for the first time since they collaborated on Sony's "Spider-Man" movies. At this stage, Franco hasn't met with Raimi to discuss the project.
While "Oz" doesn't have a start or release date, the production is a high priority for the studio, which hopes to start production in the second half of the year.

Piolo was happy over Noah Success

Piolo Pascual was happy about the success of "Noah" where he played a lead character. I always watched this series which star Jodie Sta. Maria and Joem Bascon. Piolo thanks to his workmates because the series has ended and he knew that they will be parting each others. He also thanks to people who watched this series everyday until its finals airing.

The director Lino Cayetano also thanks everyone for watching the show.

After Noah Piolo will be very busy with his first valentine concert. He plan to make KC as a guess but she refuse and would prefer to watch him from the audience. He will also schedule to tour America and will shoot a film with Kim Chiu when he comes back.

Julia Roberts who star in "Eat Pray Love" will play as the wicked or Mean Queen in the movie "Snow White". Yes the pretty woman will play as mean for the first time. I saw her as a fairy in Peter Pan but I like her in "My Best Friend Wedding" together with Cameron Diaz. She won Oscar Award in "Erin Brockovich". A film about a strong woman who exposed chemical contamination versus the a multi-billion company.

There is another film about Snow White with Kristen Stewart as Snow White while the mean queen is Charlize Theron. I like Charlize Theron too because she is a good actress in her own right. She is also an Oscar winner as best actress in "Monster". I am thrill about Julia Roberts playing the mean queen because I never saw her playing bad character since she started as an actress.
